Hi Suneesh, thank you for your question. If not consider your film growth experience, just taking the Physics PhD graduate as the condition, you could actually apply for multi departments in Micron, design, Fab, A&T, almost all technical related department could be your target. If combining your thin film experience, then you could aim at Micron Fab Process departments and functions.

My pleasure, Suneesh, feel free to apply Micron jobs in our website, our Linkedin page or just sending your profile to our official mail box. A talk with local recruiters could better for your to clarify the specific target.

Regarding the process engineering departments (considering Taiwan), will they consider English speakers ? (Unfortunately my mandarin skills are poor :P)

I think that for some role some mandarin might be required, but in general at Micron you can absolutely work only in English! ;)

Hi Suneesh,
I can comment based on my experience. When I joined Micron Japan, my Japanese skills were not great, but I could get support from my team members and even now I continue to receive language training. I think based on your role, you can communicate in English, and as I said there are company resources to develop your skills.

Okay. Thanks for the information. I'll try to connect with some recruiters before applying and I hope it will help me to know the process beforehand (especially language restrictions)
