During my career I had the honor and the pleasure to be able to learn a lot about different areas of the semiconductor manufacturing process, such as chemical engineering, metrology, dry etch, thin films etc. I now work as a director in Taiwan, and one of the things I do is coaching young engineers about these areas, to raise Micron`s future leaders.

I am in charge of site Facility and sustainability in Micron Taiwan

With over 18 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, currently I am working as a senior leader at Micron in Taiwan, I am in charge of the site facily and sustainability. In other words some of my responsibilities are planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. Among all the things we do, my team and I perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and safety processes, and recommend and implement improvements.

Having chances to help People and Micron on their success

I am a constant learner with a growth mindset toward the systems and process improvement and I truly believe that there is ALWAYS room for improvement. I think this kind of mindset is what brings success to our people and to our organization and for me, as a leader, this is the most rewarding thing. Another aspect I love about my job is the safety focus, commitment to sustainability and ensuring we are good environmental stewards for our people, community and planet.

The Best Employee Award in Central Taiwan Science Park

If you are in Taiwan you know about the Central Taiwan Science Park. It is a very importan industrial park here, and we had the honor to receive the Best Employee Award from them. For me this was undoubtedly the greatest achievement in my career!
