I started my first career at Micron as L&D Specialist.
I finished my bachelor's degree in English for Science and Technology in Xi'an University of Technology. After graduation, I found myself really interested in this area, so I choose to continue my study in Master of Translation and Interpretation.
With the aspiration of being the bridge between different cultures. I am longing to join a foreign company to enhance my experience. In the third year of my postgraduate school, I got a chance to join Micron as a Intern in Learning and Development team. It was a really amazing experience when I got lots of guidance and mentorship from my supervisor and colleagues, and I was deeply touched by the openness, respectful workplace, and the people caring. So after internship, I choose to join Micron as a regular team member. And that's where I started my role as a People Development Specialist.
With my role, I am responsible for the orientation and development of Micron team members, this job gives me the ability to bring what's touched me initially to the one who is also starting their own career, and continuous invest in their growth. It's not just about the knowledge you learn, its also about the people you meet, the culture you feel, the collaboration you witness, and the community you influence.

My current job as a People Development Experience Specialist enables me to bring new hire with the most engaged onboarding experiences from the whole company. As well as providing in time learning opportunities to support business needs and team member growth. Our team provides a complete process to develop Micron team members, Micron leaders, and contribute in the establishment of a productive learning environment.

As a PD specialist, part of my job is to motivate Micron talents with the most up-to-date skill and knowledges. Which give me the opportunity of continuous learning. I have to be embedded with the newest knowledge, and have to know what our company needs for team member, in this way, I am able to be the one who can bring those knowledge to our team members, and invest in their personal growth. So in every stage of my career path, I am continuous learning, and benefiting from the facilitation process. I am able to hear different voices and share their growth and learnings.
