My first job was at another major semiconductor company. I was doing: Major in inline defect baseline improvement to enhance product yield (10nm/5nm) Defect improvement activities across the multiple function groups with strongly process knowledge. Provide tactical support and collaborate with vendor to optimize recipe quality to achieve capacity/sensitivity improvement on both inspection and review tool. Thanks to this experience I was able to join Micron, where I am able to learn more about the semiconductor manufacturing process and, at the same time, achieve work/life balance.

Co-work and development of an inspection X-ray tool

If you do not have a technical background this might sounds difficult to understand, but I am proud to say I am working on the development of the first x-ray inspection tool with 100% sampling for HBM products. I also focus on new inspection / metrology tools for next generation of semiconductors.

Working with high creative colleague and focus on advanced technology!

In Micron we have a GREAT teamwork in every department, especially when we are facing problems. I think my team is especially good when it comes to teamwork, and I love collaborating with my team members! Another awesome thing we do is going on team bonding activities, to get closer to each other, which is not something you get for granted in every company.

Work SMART > Work hard and Work-LIFE balance

Work is very important for sure! But in the end we should not forget we are humans, and too much work will burn you out. Actually, an excess of anything is not healthy in our lives (think about too much sport, too much eating, too much sleep etc.), and we need balance in our lives. I firmly believe that working SMART will bring way more benefits than just work HARD, especially in our industry. In fact engineers do not chose the semiconductor industry for the ease, but at Micron I am able to achieve what I could not in my previous company: work effectively AND a balanced life.

Achieving the successful criteria on my first project :-)

The project I am in charge of is an x-ray inspection tool with automation, and my team and I were able to achieve the successful criterias to implement this tool in only 1,5 years. If you work in this industry you know how long this kind of things take. For me this was definitely the greatest achievement!
